Our peaceful corner, until people moved next door and began filling their lawn with 4 loads of dog crap daily and refused to clean it up - and management actually defends their behavior!
The house of the unsanitary people next door to us who add 4 piles of dog feces daily to their lawn. They refuse to clean it up and CRF says we're "being unreasonable" to expect them to!

Looks pretty but is totally useless. CRF won't replace the pool heater, so it's too cold to swim. In fact the pool is inoperative for most of the year Next to it is the Jacuzzi (not shown) and that's also useless. In fact the Jacuzzi has worked a total of 5 days from January 2010 to late-Winter and 2011 has not been much different so far.
The gate that fails to keep outsiders out of our "gated" community. For our $125,000 we get outsiders, motorcycle gangs, speeders across our lawns, 20-somethngs with baby carriages, thieves stealing from us and late-night prowlers.

CRF has already hurt many families (including us) by installing the lowest grade grass sod imaginable. The problems begin after you move in: Lawns die & refuse to be resuscitated. One tactic they use (after installing lawns that inevitably die) is to patrol the complex for dead or dying lawns then notify the homeowner that unless they fix their lawn within 60 days at their own expense, management will fix it then bill the homeowner for the repairs. Homeowners feel that they should have installed a proper lawn in the first place! Some homeowners have had to spend about as much as $2000 or more to call in an outside company to install new lawns. The rest of us just keep the old, ugly lawns that we paid good moneyfor and grin and bear it. This is the photo that appeared in the Citrus County Chronicle under the headline "Walden Woods Residents Protest Rising Rent". Here's the caption that appeared beneath the photo: "Keith Laroche walks Sunday along U.S. 19, wearing a prisoner costume. Laroche, along with other residents, protested the lot rent increase inside Walden Woods. Laroche said the increase is forcing people to sell their homes at ridiculously low prices."
The protest was also covered by TV News and ultimately brought CRF to its knees.
