 Dog Crap 35  Inches High!
It's a Lie!
When I Googled "Walden Woods South" one day I discovered that they were advertising by posting videos on YouTube. A very modern touch, to be sure. But, I soon discovered their deceptive sales practices extend far beond its printed materials, websites and misrepresentations by its sales agents, all the way to YouTube.

In one YouTube video alleged interview with a senior-aged couple introduced as "Rich and Regina", the interviewer states that "They love living here at Walden Woods South and invited us into their home to learn a little bit more about what brought them to the community".  When "Rich" is asked why he chose to live in Walden Woods South he replies, "Well, without a doubt we liked the fact that it was gated, we like the fact about the safety" and then says "We love our home and we love our neighbors".

That would be all well and good if any of it were true... but it's not! In fact it's all a lie, nothing more than a highly deceptive piece of false advertising!  Here's a play-by-play:
  1. "Rich and Regina" own a home here but rented it out for three years as they chose to live elsewhere. So much for how much they just love it here!
  2. And this video perpetuates the myth that Walden Woods South is a "gated" community when it is not. If by "gated" they mean it has a gate that's left open most of the time then I will conceded the point. Otherwise it's a lie.
  3. The "safety" that "Rich" says was so important to him is nonexistent. Walden Woods South has had robberies, thefts, parades of outside strangers and even a  2:30 am prowler.
"Walden Woods South lied!"
"Our dream is lost!"
"I know. So is our money!"

"The sales reps sold us all a phoney bill of goods from day one!"
(I can't reveal who made this direct quote but it's someone in a high position who definitely knows!)

Families Warned:
Beware of 'Judas Goats'!

Las Vegas calls them 'shills'.
Stockyards call them 'Judas Goats'.
But Walden Woods calls them 'testimonials'.

What''s a 'Judas Goat'?
Stockyards used to (and may still do) use trained goats who would lead a herd of terrified cattle from their crowded pens down a chute towards what the cattle thought was freedom. Near the end of the chute the goat would quickly duck out a small exit leaving the cattle to continue on to a certain and miserably painful death. Thus the term: ''Judas Goat'', in dubious honor of the man who betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver.

They even tried to suck us into their scheme but we refused their '30 pieces of silver'.

Here''s what Walden Woods South asked us to do:
They asked us to befriend prospective buyers visiting Walden Woods South, spend the day with them, show them around the park and the surrounding area all the time telling them how nice it was to live here, then take them to dinner. In return they promised to pay for the dinner and give us $50. We refused to lead prospective buyers to the slaughter.

So should you encounter any online glowing testimonial in any form, consider it highly suspect. Beware the 'Judas Goats'!
